Das bedeutet, dass die CD nicht gelesen kann, vermutlich aufgrund Kratzer oder Alltag. Eine andere CD sollte das Problem lösen.

Yes, the installer was designed for the 4-Disc-Retail-Version, I have it also! 😃 Your problem is probably related to a scratched or a faulty disc in some way. Ich würde wegen des Aufhängens mal in dgVoodoo ein bisschen herumspielen. Leider ist Rock Raiders wirklich ’n Problemfall und unter Windows 10 kaum spielbar.
Was den Setup anbelangt: Hast du den Kompatiblitätsmodus aktiviert? Ansonsten würde ich, falls möglich, die Dateien von der CD einfach kopieren. Soweit ich…… weiterlesen -

Did you try running the game „as an administrator“? Did you try the compatibility mode?
You need to insert the first disc in order to launch the game. This should ideally be the same drive letter which has been used with the installer. -

Ja, die großen Publisher sind uns natürlich in Sachen Ressourcen und Kompetenzen leider voraus. Das Spiel läuft bei mir allerdings nach wie vor hervorragend mit unserem Produkt, besonders in Kombination mit dgVoodoo. -
