You have to extract the .rar file in your game directory. The .rar file is an archive file which contains the HDFRAMES.DAT
You need a tool like WinRar to export the .rar file. This should look like this:

I tried removing HDFRAMES.DAT and replacing it with the .rar file but now the game won’t run at all. What do you mean by overwrite the old one?
@BefuddledLobster You have to export the „HDFRAMES.dat“ contained in the „HDFRAMES.rar“ archive in the main directory, which contains the „BLADE.exe“. Just overwrite the old file, which should be smaller than the new one we offer here to download!
Can I post images on this forum? I don’t see an option for it. I open file destination from the Blade icon on my desktop, opening the game directory. Is that where HDFRAMES.rar is supposed to go?

I’m so sorry Malte, but I seemingly have no other way of reaching you beyond here. I’m having trouble running the Blade Runner 2012 patch. HDFRAMES.rar simply doesn’t work when added to the rest of the game’s files. Could you please help me?

@DoktorTrask Ganz mit YouTube hat er ja nicht aufgehört und wollte auch nicht aufhören. Mit etwas Recherchearbeit findet man auch seinen neuen Kanal.
Ach ja der Kepu, den verfolge ich schon recht lange. Er wollte eigentlich auch ganz mit YT aufhören, ab und zu kommt aber doch noch was. Hat auch viele recht unbekannte Spiele gespielt und das immer auf Originalhardware wie sie jeweils zum Release der betreffenden Spiele aktuell war.
